I think most Americans would find that my Bolton/Westhoughton accent would be quite hard to understand. It's very broad Lancashire, quite the opposite of a City accent like Scouse or Mancunian.

To be honest, the unscholarly way you try to argue your points suggests that you're making all these degrees up. You seem to find it difficult to form any coherent arguments.
I think until you either tell us who you really are, or at least get one of your professors to come on here and confirm your qualifications, we'll have to just asssume that your degrees are imaginary.
What would amaze me if you had actually studied religion and philosophy for so long is how you would still be ensnared by a man-made religion that gives its members absolutely no freedom of religious or philosophical thought whatsoever. All those years of learning seem to have been wasted. Instead of opening your mind to new thoughts and ideas you still have the closed mindset of a JW.

reading through some of the recent posts, ie; the topic of lazarus and the gay issue, i was flabbergasted at what i was reading.
i can't believe-well maybe i can, that some people on this site are calling gay people "faggots", and telling that person that they are going to get "what sodom and gomorrah got".. this site has been a godsend to me, and have been telling my friends how nice it is to be in with a group of people who can relate to my life, my feelings, my insecurities, and my fears relating to the org.

People who were gits as JWs are usually gits when they leave the JWs. An ex-JW doesn't automatically mean a loving caring person. But it's a public forum and you'll get these kind of comments from time to time. Glad to see that it was dealt with.

as jws we learned the utmost central watchtower doctrine that jesus returned "invisibly" in 1914 (well it was 1874, but then j. f. rutherford decided jesus really, really, really returned at a later date ... this is also known to jws as "jesus second presence" (greek: parousia = english: presence):.

For about 12 months I've been asking Scholar to post just one piece of the 'abundant secular evidence' for 607 BC that he claims exists, and so far nothing! You're in for a long wait.
